We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting Working Student occupation in the area of DevOps Engineering (Python) at BMW Car IT in our location Ulm.

You will be creating an automated changelog and change notification system for a distributed continuous integration (CI) system. We want to gather and track configuration changes from different sources (GitHub, Kubernetes) and automatically inform system operators about them, e.g. by posting summarized information to a chat system.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in the field of computer science or similar.
• Experience in Python programming and Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux is beneficial.
• Ideally some experience with Continuous Integration (CI) practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, zuul).
• Good English skills.
• Fixed Residence in the area of Ulm.
